The Fun Continues During the Second Day of VidCon

Day two of the web video conference, VidCon, brought with it more amazing performances, the premiere of the Vlogumentarytrailer, long lines of anxious fans, and plenty of laughs.
ShayCarl and Corey Vidal’s documentary on vloggers and their community looks to be incredibly honest, touching and insightful. Previously called I’m Vlogging Here, the film revealed their new name, Vlogumentary and their trailer to the VidCon crowd. Afterward more than a few in the audience, me included, were misty eyed.
Attendees were also treated with another trailer, this time for the new season of the hit series, My Music. The mockumentary created by The Fine Brothers retains much of its format in the second season and stars Grace Helbig, Adam Busch, Jarrett Sleeper, Jack Douglass, and the rest of the main cast from season one.

Later in the day, those who got in for the My Music panel were lucky to see a few episodes of the new season. MyMusicShow was one of the original channels renewed by YouTube and has over 400,000 subscribers.
Helbig teamed up with Hannah Hart and Mamrie Hart for their afternoon Meet-Up. The session was one of the funniest of the convention, with the trio’s trademark sass and unfiltered humor on full display. Mamrie revealed that the friends’ new film, Camp Takota, is inspired in part by her experience returning as an adult to work at her old summer camp.
Earlier in the day, a capella singer Peter Hollens did a live Disney medley with Alex G. With music from The Lion KingThe Little MermaidAladdin, and more, the performance was definitely one of the highlights of VidCon 2013. The music video played on the screens in time with the two singers on stage so we know the video is already complete. It is not yet available on Hollen’s channelbut we hope it will be soon.
As the second and final day of the convention came closer to the end, attendees packed the Arena once more for the evening Concert Series. There musician George Watsky stage dove off the KIA car parked next to the KIA sponsored main stage.
It was a little crazy, very sudden, and completely awesome. I can think of no better way to sum up VidCon 2013.
